Mission 1: Setup & Song Selection

Load two clean songs into the DJ Mix Lab. Listen to both tracks and decide which song should start first.
Mission 2: Song Structure
Time: 15β30 minutes
Find the intro, verse, hook, and outro of one song.
Mission 3: Hot Cue Challenge
Time: 30β45 minutes
Set 6 hot cues: intro, verse, hook, drop, bridge, and outro.
Mission 4: Cue Control
Time: 45β60 minutes
Practice stopping, cueing, and restarting the song from the cue point.
Mission 5: Crossfader Blend
Time: 60β75 minutes
Blend Deck 1 into Deck 2 using the crossfader.
Mission 6: BPM & Sync
Time: 75β90 minutes
Use tempo and sync to match both songs as closely as possible.
Mission 7: Filters & Effects
Time: 90β105 minutes
Test normal, low pass, high pass, and echo effects.
Mission 8: Final Mini Mix Plan
Time: 105β120 minutes
Create a final mini mix plan using cues, crossfader, BPM/sync, and one effect.

Empowering the Next Generation of Creators and Leaders
Moguls in the Making is a hands-on youth development program designed to introduce students ages 13–18 to the worlds of music, media, and entrepreneurship. The program provides a supportive learning environment where youth from underserved communities, including youth with disabilities, can develop creative skills, build confidence, and explore real career pathways.
Through mentorship and interactive workshops, participants gain exposure to industries such as DJing, music production, digital media, and business development, helping them transform their passions into practical opportunities.
What Students Will Learn
