Compensation & Payment Structure
All current positions at The Youth Meets Moguls Incorporated are contract-based. Team members are hired as independent contractors and paid via a 1099 tax form. As a contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
✨ Coming Soon: We plan to open W-2 employee positions with benefits starting next year as the organization grows.
1. Community DJ & Teen Outreach Specialist
Role Overview:
Bring music, mentorship, and positive energy to teens through hands-on DJ workshops, community events, and festival performances. You'll represent the organization in public, speak about our mission, and build direct relationships with youth and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead beginner/intermediate DJ workshops (equipment setup, mixing, DJ software)

Perform and facilitate at community events, school programs, and local festivals

Speak to youth and families about programs and opportunities

Represent the organization at public events and on social media

Support event logistics, safety, and community outreach efforts

Assist with fundraising and visibility campaigns
Required Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience DJing in youth/community settings
-
Friendly, engaging communicator with confidence speaking to groups

Reliable, punctual, and responsible working around youth

Knowledge of DJ tools and gear (Serato, Numark, Rekordbox, etc.)

Willingness to travel to events and festivals

Must obtain a valid DJ license (support available if needed)

2. Music Producer – Teens & Community Projects
Role Overview:
Design and lead hands-on music production experiences that empower youth to tell their stories. From beat-making workshops to audio for promotional media, this role blends creativity, mentorship, and community building.
Key Responsibilities:

Run beginner/intermediate production workshops (DAWs, beat-making, mixing)

Develop youth-friendly project briefs, sample packs, and templates

Record, produce, and edit tracks for events, videos, and youth showcases
-
Support artist mentorship and studio session guidance
-
Collaborate with staff on festivals, showcases, and audio media projects
Required Qualifications:

Proficient in one or more DAWs (FL Studio, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, etc.)

Demonstrated experience teaching or mentoring teens

Recording and mixing experience (mic setup, vocal tracking, etc.)

Available for after-school/weekend sessions and events

Portfolio or sample reel (beats, tracks, or teaching examples)

4. Youth Events Coordinator
Role Overview:
Design unforgettable youth experiences through creative, well-organized events. You’ll manage logistics while keeping the energy and purpose aligned with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle logistics: venues, permits, vendor coordination, budgets

Partner with youth artists, schools, and community groups

Promote events through flyers, social media, and outreach

Support post-event evaluation and reporting
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience

5. Audio Engineer – Youth & Community Projects
Role Overview:
Capture the sound of the next generation. As Audio Engineer, you’ll support recording and sound reinforcement for youth-led music and media projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Record, mix, and master audio for youth performances and content

Set up and monitor sound systems for live events and studio sessions

Maintain audio gear and troubleshoot issues

Mentor interested teens in audio basics
Required Qualifications:
